Blodomloppet
After a full day's work mum and I headed for the annual Blodomloppet at Heleneholm. I was so proud of her for finishing 5,6km - running the full distance - in 43 minutes. Myself I realised I haven't recovered fully from my cold, I had a lot of phlegm in my throat, making it slightly difficult to breath. Still I finished just under 45 minutes as I aimed for: 44:48. I placed 21st in total which I'm very happy about.
In general it was really nice to see so many people - more than 10 000 people - gathering to run for the benefit of blood donations.

Some ups and some downs
One bike lost, one idiot on a train and a one tripp with dad's new boat!
I'm officially a citizen of Malmo - my 12 year old bike got stolen tuesday this week. I don't care so much about the bike as such but I'm annoyed as I depend on my bike for getting everywhere. Now I have to either take the time to walk or plan according to bus schedules. Not my style!
That same day I encountered an idiot on the train. Or I didn't actually see the idiot but my train was almost 30min delayed because of him. How hard can it be? No ticket - no ride!! And if caught having no ticket, you leave the train without objection! But nooo, not this guy. He refused and threatened the train conducter. We then had to wait for the police to get there. Sigh! Some people!
I felt kinda down towards the end of the work week. Not sure what to do in order to turn this around... I don't want to feel like this all summer long...
Today (sunday) dad took me out fishing in his new boat. We went to the harbour in Limhamn (Malmö) and the weather was beautiful!! I have a feeling we will very much enjoy having the boat this summer...

Recap: April
| Really cool street performance at Covent Garden |
On saturday me, Lizzy and Chris went on a roadtrip to University of Essex for the alumni weekend. It was great meeting all the youngsters and going out for the evening (seeing Nav, Faize, Mandeep, Kyle, Rob, Richard etc.) The only downside of my visit was that I didnt get to see Kirsty :(
Valborg evening I went to a bbq at Lena's. Calm and nice evening. I could not have done any more than that since I started to feel ill. The rest of the week I have felt like death. Seriously, it is ok to be ill when its winter and aweful weather outside - not now when spring has finally arrived and it's nice and sunny!!
After having put flowers and furniture on my balcony, done my laundry and baked some buns I'm now finally starting to feel better. Tomorrow is a new week and I hope it will be a better one!
